About Portugal Mapped

Portugal Mapped is an independent editorial project: a structured guide to Portuguese places, built on open data and verified with human editorial on every page. We are not a tourism board, a booking agency or a lead farm — the site exists because accurate, current, structured information about Portugal was scattered across a dozen sources.

Every place page combines three layers: structured facts (geography, climate normals, administrative data) from open datasets; a curated editorial layer written and verified by humans; and, where relevant, a practical living/investing section that connects to a licensed advisory partner. We label every verified date, and we correct in the open.

The site is independent of its advertising partner: guide content is written first, and commercial links are clearly marked. Golden Visa and tax pages are informational only — they are not legal, tax or investment advice.
